Has anyone actually read and understood the "What Every Computer Scientist Should Know About Floating-Point Arithmetic" paper?

Has anyone actually read and understood the "What Every Computer Scientist
Should Know About Floating-Point Arithmetic" paper?

People keeps on repeating and posting and commenting that everyone should
read the magical "What Every Computer Scientist Should Know About
Floating-Point Arithmetic" paper, saying that it's something that you
should read and understand.
However has anyone actually ever read it? I've attempted to read it at
least 5 times and I can't get past the first few sections.
Is this paper something like Knuth's "The Art of Programming" that you
know no one has ever actually read, yet everyone says that's the book that
you should read?
